Compendium of existing goals and targets under the 19 Focus Areas being considered by the Open Working Group

A compendium of targets and indicators has been compiled by the UN technical support team to inform the deiliberations of the Open Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals. The compilation consists of existing goals and targets which relate to the 19 Focus Areas being considered by the OWG on SDGs.

SDGs focus areas: Stakeholder proposals for goals and targets

In order to inform the deliberations of the tenth session of the Open Working Group (OWG) on Sustainable Development Goals, Stakeholder Forum along with 16 global partners have compiled a report of goals and corresponding targets from proposals housed within the SDGs e-Inventory which relate to the 19 focus areas identified by the OWG Co-Chairs.

Position Papers on the Sustainable Development Goals from the UN Major Groups

Each of the nine United Nations Major Groups has produced a position paper on issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals. Preparatory materials for the 10th session of the OWG on SDGs

The Co-Chairs of the Open Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals have released a number of documents in preperation for its 10th session taking place from 31 March - 4 April at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Istanbul Communiqué: Coordinating efforts for a global movement on the Post - 2015 Sustainable Development Agenda

Over 50 people from 6 continents and representing more than 30 key platforms and organizations engaged in civil society-led campaigns relating to sustainable development gathered in Istanbul, Turkey on 23-24 February 2014. The meeting was convened by CIVICUS in collaboration with the United Nations, the Overseas Development Institute and the United Nations Foundation.
